Lloyd Carney is the chief executive officer and a member of the Brocade board of directors. As CEO, Carney is responsible for executing the Company’s vision and strategy to lead the networking industry through its next phase of evolution that will be defined by data center virtualization, cloud computing and software networking.
Before joining Brocade, Carney was CEO and member of the board of directors at Xsigo Systems, a technology leader in the data center virtualization market with solutions for cloud computing and software-defined networking. Previous to that, Carney was CEO of Micromuse, Inc., a networking management software company which became an integral part of the IBM Tivoli framework. Carney also has extensive experience in the IP networking industry. He served as the Chief Operating Officer at Juniper Networks where he oversaw the engineering, product management and manufacturing divisions. Carney also served as President of the Core IP, Wireless Internet and the Enterprise divisions at Nortel Networks, which generated multi-billion dollars in revenue. Before this, Carney was the Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Enterprise Business Unit at Bay Networks.
Carney holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute and a Master of Science degree in Applied Business Management from Lesley College, Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Dan Fairfax was named Chief Financial Officer and VP of Finance in June 2011 and has responsibility for the company's financial processes and reporting, as well as global real estate and facilities. Fairfax joined Brocade in 2008, as the result of the Company's acquisition of Foundry Networks, where he served as CFO. Fairfax joined Foundry Networks in May 2006, and has more than 25 years of senior financial and operations management experience.
Prior to joining Foundry Networks, Fairfax served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of GoRemote Internet Communications. He also served as Chief Financial Officer of Ironside Technologies, Inc.; ACTA Technology; and NeoVista Software. Before that, Fairfax held senior financial management and operations positions at Siemens and Spectra-Physics.
Fairfax holds a BA in Economics from Whitman College and an MBA from the University of Chicago, and is a Certified Public Accountant in California with an inactive license.
As Chief Technology Officer and Vice President, Corporate Development and Emerging Business, Ken Cheng leads Brocade’s technology strategy, software networking solutions, key business initiatives, M&A and investment portfolio as it focuses on the evolving data center infrastructure within enterprises, cloud service providers and Federal markets. Previously at Brocade, Cheng served as Vice President, Routing, Application Delivery and Software Networking Group since 2010. In this role, he drove the overall vision, strategy and execution of the Brocade advanced routing, application delivery and software networking business.
Cheng joined Brocade in 2008 through the company’s acquisition of Foundry Networks where he held various executive management positions during his 12-year tenure. Prior to Foundry, Cheng served as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Engineering for DG Systems (now DG FastChannel), a content distribution network company that operates the largest network designed specifically for media distribution. Cheng also held senior engineering management positions at Network Equipment Technologies (NET) and Bell Northern Research (later Nortel Labs).
Cheng has a BS in Applied Mathematics from Queen's University (Canada), an MBA from Santa Clara University, and a Certificate in Music from the Royal Academy of Music (England).

As Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Jeff Lindholm is responsible for leading the development and execution of the company’s overall global sales strategy spanning across all networking products and solutions. In addition, he oversees the global sales organization and is focused on implementing strategies to expand the company’s customer base to take advantage of new business opportunities that are arising in the networking industry today.
With more than 30 years of experience in the high-tech industry, Lindholm has held a number of sales and marketing leadership positions at networking and telecommunications technology companies. At Juniper Networks, he served in key executive roles including the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales as well as the Chief Marketing Officer. Most recently, Lindholm served as the Senior Vice President of Field Operations at Arbor Networks, a provider of network security and management solutions for enterprise and service provider networks.
Lindholm holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.
As Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary, Tyler Wall is responsible for all aspects of the company's legal department functions, practices, and policies. His executive experience includes a focus on technology licensing and distribution agreements; mergers and acquisitions; financing; commercial transactions and agreements; domestic and international corporate affairs; and public company reporting.
Prior to Brocade, Wall served at Chordiant Software, Inc. as Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary. Before that, he worked at Oracle Corporation as Corporate Counsel for the Commercial Licensing and Distribution group in Oracle's Legal department.
Wall has a BS in Economics from the University of Utah, a JD from Santa Clara University School of Law, and an MBA from Santa Clara University School of Business.
Paul Martin was promoted to Vice President of Global Services in June 2011. Prior to this role, Martin served as Brocade's Vice President of Worldwide Technical Support. Martin has more than 25 years of engineering and technical support experience, including serving as the VP of Engineering at CNT and McData following that company's acquisition of CNT. Prior to this, Martin served as Executive VP of Engineering and Support Operations at Calabrio, a VoIP company, where he was responsible for providing support and services for a worldwide installed base of over 750,000 IP-based voice and networking solutions. Martin has been awarded two patents in the area of VoIP.
Martin has a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana and Executive MBA from the University of Minnesota.
Lisa McGill is responsible for leading and driving Brocade's strategic human resource initiatives globally. Ms. McGill emphasizes an employee centric culture through evolving employee engagement plans and a robust learning and development organization.
As a key contributing member of the executive team, Ms. McGill is a true business partner to Brocade's business leaders, ensuring the company's targets are achieved and Brocade remains an aggressive market leader. Ms. McGill has nearly twenty years of HR experience with particular expertise in Int'l HR management & compensation. Ms. McGill was the VP of HR at Foundry Networks, which Brocade acquired in December, 2008. Ms. McGill was with Foundry for nearly 8 years and previously held senior HR positions at Alcatel and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Ms. McGill holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Science degree in business management.
As Vice President of Operations, Raymond Lee is responsible for the company's global supply chain and manufacturing strategy. Supply chain operations include order management, planning, supply base and contract manufacturing management, new product launches, fulfillment operations, new product launches, repair operations, logistics and quality.
Prior to Brocade, Lee held a variety of executive positions in operations, professional services, product management and IT in different industries from technology startups, professional services to industrials. Prior companies include Walker Digital, IT Solutions (now known as Keane), and Ingersoll-Rand.
Lee holds a BS in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison as well as an MS in Computer Science and an MBA in Finance and Operations from Indiana University-Bloomington.
Parviz Ghalambor is responsible for the research and development of all Brocade SAN and IP products globally, a position he has held since 2007. He was previously Senior Director of Engineering at Rhapsody Networks, which was acquired by Brocade in 2003.
Ghalambor has over 30 years of engineering management experience, and he has pioneered the design and development of a broad range of technologies, including mainframes, ATM systems, IP networking and storage networking systems. Prior to joining Brocade, he was Senior Director of Engineering at AccessLan Communications. He also held technical management positions at Synoptics and Unisys.
Ghalambor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach.
As Vice President of Brocade's Data Center Switching and Routing business, Jason Nolet is responsible for defining the company's vision, strategy and execution plans to drive the company's business results for all IP/Ethernet data center switching and routing products, as well as network management and cloud orchestration solutions. He joined Brocade in 2009, bringing nearly 25 years of experience in the networking industry.
Prior to Brocade, Nolet held a variety of executive positions at Cisco during a 13-year period. He was most recently Vice President of Engineering, leading product development for a wide range of security products and solutions. Prior to Cisco, Nolet spent more than a decade in engineering leadership roles at Stratus Computer, AT&T Global Information Systems, and NCR Corporation.
Nolet has a BS in Business Administration and Information Systems from San Diego State University.
Gale England is the vice president of Customer Advocacy and Operational Effectiveness, a position formed in June 2013. In this role, England is responsible for driving operational efficiencies in company’s global programs, internal processes, and IT, all with the goal of creating a world-class customer experience. Specifically, England is tasked with improving customer advocacy, streamlining internal processes and leveraging IT resources with the goal of better enabling Brocade to deliver world-class products and services to its customers both internal and external to Brocade.
Prior to Brocade, England has held leadership roles across numerous departments, including engineering, customer service, operations and executive leadership in his more than 35 years in the technology industry. Most recently, England was the senior vice president Global Operations and Quality at Grass Valley LLC., where he managed the rollout of services and technologies that improved the company’s manufacturing, ordering, logistics, supply chain and quality processes. He has also held senior positions at Nortel Networks, Bay Networks, Sonus Networks and Numetrix Technologies.
England holds a Bachelors of Arts in Economics from California State University, Chico as well as Technical and Professional Management Certifications from Boston University and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
